Common questions

When do I need to upgrade to 200-amp service?
If you're adding an EV charger, whole-home generator, large addition, or the panel is an older Zinsco or Federal Pacific, it's time. We'll run a load calc to confirm.
Is my panel brand actually unsafe?
Federal Pacific Stab-Lok and Zinsco panels have known failure modes where breakers don't trip during a fault. Insurance companies are increasingly requiring them to be replaced. We can identify yours on a free walk-through.
How long does a panel upgrade take?
A standard 100-to-200-amp swap is a single-day job. Power is out for 2-4 hours during the changeover. We coordinate the utility disconnect and inspection for you.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Every permit-required job — yes. We pull it, schedule the inspection, meet the inspector, and handle any corrections. You never touch paperwork.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through Wisetack and Synchrony for qualifying jobs. Ask at your estimate — approvals are usually instant.
